We chose the half board version. The dinner was poor- food average minus, waiter did not know one word English and gave us wrong information re the menu
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Staying on Mont St. Michel over night is not cheap, but an extraordinary experience!
The staff is patient and helping and the room is comfortable and new. It's very quite as it locates in a lane.
It is inconvinient to get to the room with heavy luggages as it is situated at a hill. It would be better if the room has a sea view.
The rooms are a bit of a climb from the hotel, but it's all part of the charm of Mont St. Michel. The romm was excellent, with breathtaking views of the Mont, and beyond.
Almost everything. The room was much better than expected.
Definitly avoid heavy luggages to bring to the hotel. The room we stayed was few minutes' walk from the reception and the stairs were steep!
when the crowds leave Mont St. Michael, you are there, with few others, in the quiet and lovliness of this unique place. The room we stayed in overlooked a quiet street and seemed to have been part of an old monastery...it was wonderful.
We had one of the rooms outside the main hotel, but because we knew in advance we were fine with it. A smaller, lighter suitcase is advantageous for carrying up the steps and through the narrow passageways higher up the 'Mont'. It was a small, but nice room - the newly remodeled bathroom was very nice, and so was the comfort of the beds and linens. It was expensive, but I would recommend it.
The staff were friendly and competent
The hotel is surrounded by bad restaurants , some of the worst in France .
Great location. Excellent showers. Good bedrooms. Tea, coffee in room.
Poor customer service. Make sure you ask for the parking barrier key code as they do not automatically inform you of this.
We enjoyed everything! The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Our room was decorated beautifully and had lots of character. The facilities were good and the hotel was spotlessly clean.
The restaurant stopped serving food at 9.30. We had arrived late, so by the time we were showered and rested, found that we had to travel a few km in order to get an evening meal. Milk sachets would have been better than the one sachet of powdered milk in the room.
Nice location in village. Room was clean and comfortable for 4 of us. Nice to have coffee/tea service in room.
No view from room. Very expensive breakfast. Wireless internet didn't really work. Beds were very narrow - more narrow than a standard twin. I had no problem but my husband complained.
Very cozy hotel, clean, new and convenient.
Very nice hotel! Very comfortable and clean
There was no view out of the room -just a wall.
Lovely to see how this ancient building has been transformed into modern comfort. Staff friendly and welcoming. The rooms were tastefully appointed and clean, and having a very cute separate loft for child was desirable! High standard in restaurant.
Beautiful property. We upgraded to a "family room" which was perfect for the 3 of us. A bit expensive especially considering the usd/ eu exchange rate but we were there in high season. Charm/ location factor 10 of 10 !
Traveler tip: Heed the warnings. Pack only what you can carry over your shoulder. Getting to any hotel on the Mount involves steps, cobblestone walks and steep grades
